Feature and Follow Friday

Q: Define what characteristics your favorite books share. Do they all have a kick ass heroine or is the hot love interest the Alpha Male?

I read so many different genres, I don’t know that any of them share a characteristic besides being a good book. I am always looking for different things in my books. I can’t even say they all have a likeable or relate-able character, because looking at my shelf, I know that’s not true.
The only thing all of my books have in common is that I was drawn to them for whatever reason. And the majority of them have pretty kick ass covers. =)

I don’t have a preference for following, just follow me whichever way works for you. Comment with your Feature and Follow post and I’ll return the favor.

  1. Thanks for stopping by – happy to return the visit (and the follow).

Nothing wrong with a little diversity on the bookshelves. Sometimes it's the character that draws you in, sometimes it's the story, and sometimes you can't quite define what attracted you to it . . . and those are often the best reads of all.

  2. I've a cover lover too. If the cover is gorgeous it'll draw me in and make me at least pick up the book to see what its about. I know 'judging a book by its cover' is a no-no, but it's the first thing I notice about a book!

  3. Yeah, I know exactly what you mean. I read a lot of different books too so it's hard to pinpoint one specific thing. And I love kickass covers, but sometimes there's an awesome book hiding behind a pretty crappy one. Which is unfortunate, since it is so easy to judge books by their covers.

    I'm a new follower! 🙂
